A higher nose bridge without surgery? Yes, it is possible.

Wish to have a sharper and higher nose bridge but too afraid to go under the knife for a nose surgery (rhinoplasty) and having to worry about the post-surgical complications?

This is easily achievable with nose fillers, also known as non-surgical nose augmentation. The procedure takes only a few minutes and generally very safe.

The best part is you are able to see the effects immediately without any downtime. While nose reshaping surgery will require you to take time off work to recuperate from post-operative bleeding and swelling, with nose filler, it is literally a walk in/ walkout ‘lunch time’ procedure.

Nose filler procedure is quick with minimal discomfort, and it produces positive results immediately

Studies have shown that attention is often drawn to the nose and eyes first, before the rest of the other features on the face. Being right in the middle of the face, it is no doubt that an enhanced nose bridge will bring out greater confidence and even improve overall facial shape and look. This is because a sharper nose bridge gives the impression of a slimmer face shape, and hence a more refined and elegant appearance.

Different person have different expectations of how high or sharp they want their nose to be. With nose fillers, being able to see the immediate results gives patients the control on the final outcome of the appearance.

Will it be painful?

After cleaning, topical anaesthetic cream (painkiller cream) or ice packs will be applied on the nose to numb the area for about 15-20 minutes before the injection. Most patients tolerate the procedure well, with minimal discomfort. The fillers we use contain local anaesthetic which also helps to make patients feel little or no pain during the procedure.

What are the side effects and complications?

The most common side effects include redness, swelling, bruising or slight bleeding over the injection sites which normally subsides within 1-2 days.

How long will nose fillers last?

This depends on the type of filler used. We use non permanent hyaluronic acid fillers for the nose which can last up to 6 months.

Non permanent filler is preferred because if you do not like the appearance of your nose after the procedure, the effect will eventually wear off, unlike rhinoplasty, where you will need another surgery to redo it if you are unhappy with the outcome.

Will my nose look funny or worse than before when the effect of fillers wears off?

The answer is no. The shape of your nose will eventually go back to its original appearance. Hence, we recommend touch ups before 6 months or when you start noticing the effects slowly wearing off.

You can have a desired nose appearance with a simple nose filler procedure. It is quick and effective with minimal pain and complications.
